The partnership between West Oxfordshire District Council and Wycombe Leisure to run local leisure facilities is being extended until November 2006.
Earlier this year, Wycombe Leisure took over the running of the facilities, which include the Windrush Leisure Centre in Witney, Chipping Norton Leisure Centre, and the open-air swimming pools in Woodstock and Chipping Norton.
The company is expecting to make a surplus of about £90,000 after its first operational year.
The council's cabinet member for cultural services, Tony Walker, said: "The success of Wycombe Leisure's first operational year is good news. It will enable continuous improvements to facilities, which will provide a better leisure service."
Improvements will include refurbishment and equipment for the Windrush Leisure Centre and an on-line booking system for all leisure facilities in the district.
Wycombe Leisure will also run Carterton's leisure centre, which is due to open next autumn.
