About 50 people attended an open day for over-50s at Bicester and Ploughley Sports Centre, Queens Avenue.
People were able to try out activities for free, including sunbeds, the health suite with steam rooms and sauna, swimming pool and squash courts.
Rebecca de la Bedoyeve, from the sports centre, said the day is organised every year to encourage over-50s to go to the centre and get fit.
She said: "A lot of over-50s are bewildered by the amount of choice and feel totally out of place, so it's a chance for them to try out new exercises."
The event also raised about £100 which is being donated to the special care baby unit, at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
