Oxford City veteran Mick Welland secured an excellent 19th place overall from nearly 600 runners at the Great Barford Half Marathon.
Welland ran well within himself to cover the undulating course in 1hr 22mins 39secs to take first place in the Vet 55 category.
Woodstock Harriers were also well represented, with veteran Mike Shipway taking first place in the Vet 60 race in 1.23.33, while Steve Caswell crossed the line in 1.27.44.
Richard Dunbabin and Tony Maddison both registered personal best times of 1.30.43 and 1.38.57 respectively.
