I believe that the county council is cheating us all of an adequate service, bearing in mind the amount of council tax we pay.
I have written 20 letters to the Major Projects Team at Environmental Services complaining about road junctions in my area and received no replies. I have phoned hundreds of times.
On some occasions, no-one has picked up the phone. If you phone any other office, you normally get a response between 9am and 5pm.
Often if I have got through, I have been promised a return phone call from a manager which has never materialised and if I have had a conversation with a local government officer, it has been totally ineffective.
These people have shown themselves to be incompetent and unprofessional in their behaviour. They have also been abusive to my wife.
How can these people justify the service they are giving us? It is hardly surprising Ian Beesley got so upset and removed the traffic hump, if he was treated in the same way. The public are going to take drastic measures if this poor service continues.
