Pupils are scrambling around in a new adventure playground, thanks to the fundraising efforts of their mums and dads.
The PTA at St Nicholas Primary School, in East Challow, near Wantage, collected more than £4,000 to replace condemned equipment in the play area, through events such as monthly bingo sessions, dances and fun days.
Pictured testing out some of the new equipment are, from left, Miles Waldmann, Tom Whiting, Ewan Motion, James Rowe, Faye Hook and Lorna Andrews.
The new play area, which includes a wobble walk, rope bridge and beams, was opened with the help of former pupils at an official ceremony.
