A Christmas cracker looks on the cards at Kilkenny Lane as Carterton Town take on leaders North Leigh in a west Oxfordshire top-of-the-table derby on Boxing Day (11).
It is the first time ever the two sides have clashed as the top two in the Premier Division, and while North Leigh stretched their lead at the top to eight points on Saturday with their 3-0 win at Yate, Carterton have a game in hand.
North Leigh boss Mark Gee said: "It's going to be a tight one. Carterton are very tough to break down, and we need to score early to stand a chance.
"We will play it at our own pace, and hopefully that will be good enough to beat them."
Carterton chairman Bob Taylor is looking forward to the prospect of a bumper Boxing Day crowd.
"Our players are really up for this one, and it should be a cracking game. With it being an early kick-off, I hope we will see a big crowd too."
Terry Merriman comes in as replacement for the unavailable Karl Dodds, while striker Justin Timms is added to the North Leigh squad.
David Lawrence should be back in the Witney United squad for their home game with Shrivenham in Division 1 West (3).
Lawrence, who missed three games as he was called into the Hayes squad, was due back last Saturday, but was involved in a minor car accident on the way to the ground.
Defender Steve Haynes is doubtful with a persistent groin injury, while Leeyon Phelan is unavailable.
In Division 1 East, Quarry Nomads welcome back striker Anaclet Odhi- ambo for their visit to Milton United (2). He returns after missing Saturday's Oxon Charity Cup win.
Francis Fox is added to the squad, along with new signing Jerome McCalmon.
James Ford and Michael Bateman are still sidelined.
