I was interested to read the story about the lollipop man taking photographs of speeding cars in Headley Way at Headington, Oxford (Oxford Mail, December 7).
I have asked the council on many occasions to provide a coloured cycle lane by Headington School.
My husband and son have both almost been knocked off their cycles because of parking outside the school.
It is very difficult when parents park their cars to pick up children, as traffic is very busy between 3.30 and 6pm. There is also a bus stop.
The road is also used by lorries and it is dangerous. I would like to see a cycle lane and a camera to stop speeding.
I have lived in Headley Way for 20 years, and it is the worst it has ever been. I walk my dog every day and find it difficult to cross.
Please do something for the residents, before someone is killed.
