While I believe most people would agree there is a problem with immigration on this island, I hope the population of Bicester are able to see through any propaganda that may land on their doorsteps from the National Front and that they do not vote for them (Oxford Mail, December 17).
People suffer hardship and travel in awful conditions to make it to our country because their lives are in danger or simply because they want a better life for them and their families.
Is this so awful? I would certainly do the same for my family.
Until the supply of state handouts and housing is standardised across Europe, this will continue to happen.
I have no problem sharing this island peacefully with people of any race, faith or colour, but would rather not share it with the vile racists of the National Front.
