Cherry Red Records Hellenic League: A hat-trick from Steve Litten ensured that Kidlington came away from Headington with all three Division 1 West points after dominating the game for long periods.
The first 20 minutes were very competitive, but Kidlington seized the initiative by scoring twice in two minutes just before the half hour, through Dave Couling, his first of the season, and Luke Holden, after some hard work by Steve Litten.
A free kick from Headington's Neil Holman reduced the arrears on 41 minutes, but after the break, the lively Litten restored Kidlington's two-goal advantage when he pounced on a loose ball after keeper Simon Parsons failed to hold Holden's initial shot.
Poor marking from Kidlington allowed James Green to keep Headington in the hunt in the 82nd minute, but Litten scored twice more late on to complete his second hat-trick over the holiday period.
