Pensioners gathered to eat a Christmas dinner and raised funds for the Oxford Children's Hospital Appeal.
The annual charity event was held at Templeton College, in Kennington.
Organiser George Ross said: "There was a concert and we collected money from the people who attended."
He added: "We are hoping to present a cheque for £400 to the children's hospital appeal."
The appeal aims to raise £15m towards a new £20m dedicated children's hospital in Oxford.
The scheme to build a new hospital on the site of the John Radcliffe Hospital is being supported by the Oxford Mail.
