130 die-hard racers defied the rain to compete in the Christmas Capers short circuit race meeting at Standlake Arena on Sunday (Dec 29).
Junior racer Michael Hayes, 14, from North Leigh, continued his super form by taking the first heat and then following it up with victory in the junior final.
It continued a purple patch for Hayes, who was posting his third consecutive final win.
The best turn-out of the year saw 20 cars take to the track in the elite Hot Rod class.
They provided some brilliant high-speed racing with Witney racers Roger Townsend and Chris Kew winning a heat apiece, before Townsend went on to take the final from Ducklington's Trevor Harvey.
