Mary Salisbury, a former member of the Marston Minstrels choir in Oxford, has died aged 94.
She sang contralto in the group, which gave hundreds of concerts from the 1940s to the 1960s. It was based at the former Congregational Church in Marston Road.
She lived at Hugh Allen Crescent, New Marston, and Hampden Drive, Kidlington, before moving a year ago to the Brookfield Christian Care Home at Greater Leys, Oxford, where she died.
Mrs Salisbury, whose husband George died in 1989, leaves a son Edward and daughter-in-law Kay.
The funeral took place at Oxford Crematorium on Friday (December 27).
