Wigmore, 19, of Stratton Audley, near Bicester, and co-driver Robbie Durrant, 21, of Witney, had a successful end to the season, winning the final round of the championship, the Aldershot-based Michelin Southern Tempest Stages.
Wigmore and Durrant finished third overall and second junior crew in the series, which is part of the British Rally Championship.
Wigmore's self-prepared car was the only one to finish all events.
Next season, with support from the London Rally School, based at Stratton Audley, and Banzai corporate events, he intends to compete in the 2003 Ford Ka Championship with some support from Ford Rallye Sport.
