A proud Marston boy is thought to be the first in Oxford to get the Silver Cub Scout Award.
Matthew Foster
Ten-year-old Matthew Foster, of Hugh Allen Crescent, spent a month camping, completed a recycling project, learned about the Oxford charity Oxfam and found out about Hinduism to get the award.
His father, Chris Foster, said: "He had to complete three badges before he could apply to go for the silver award."
Matthew is a member of the 10th Oxford Marston cub pack.
