Two police officers were injured as they carried out arrests following a high-speed car chase in Oxford.
One policeman needed six stitches after his arm was cut on broken glass during the incident, which happened just after 2pm on Sunday.
Another officer suffered a knee injury.
Police cars and a helicopter had trailed a red Ford Mondeo for 10 minutes as it travelled at speeds reaching 90mph along roads in Headington and Wood Farm. The car struck two parked vehicles before it was stopped by police in Harold White Close, Risinghurst.
A resident in Harold White Close said: "It was like something out of a movie."
Mark Lawrence, 26, of Lowell Place, Witney, has been charged with five driving- related offences, grievous bodily harm and assault with intent to resist arrest.
A 31-year-old man from Ducklington, near Witney, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking. He was released on police bail until Wednesday, January 8.
