Two thrilling finals were the feature of the Berks Bonanza grasstrack meeting at the new venue in Grove Farms, Steventon on Monday.
The 1,000cc sidecars took pride of place as Ivor Matthews and partner Tony Miles emerged from the dust to pip long-time leader John Halsey and Jason Glennie in a cracking finish to a superb day's entertainment.
The thrills were no less in the solo event, where Jason Handley had to fend off former Oxford Cheetah Jason Bunyan for four laps to win the A final.
There was no luck for local riders Dave Durham, from Grove, and Steventon's Mike Toplis.
