He had launched his own fire protection business, Action Fire, and the family was about to convert a barn into a new home at Drumnadrochit, near Inverness.
The funeral took place on May 6 at Drumnadrochit.
The accident happened on the A92, near Kirkcaldy. Mr Aris and his brother-in-law, James Hickson, were travelling home when their van collided with a JCB. Mr Hickson was injured.
Mr Aris was educated at Bartholomew School, Eynsham, where he met his wife. His three sisters and brother all live in Oxfordshire.
He played for Long Hanborough football team which, at their end of season dinner, raised £500 for his children.
Mr Aris was also a keen Oxford United supporter.
