Blues, beer and folk music have provided the money for a new youth cricket scheme at Wallingford Sports Park.
The £2,500 needed for the venture came from grants, following the town's Blues and Beer festival, the Bunkfest folk music and dance event, and the Cross Keys pub.
The Sunday morning coaching and friendly matches for under 13s and under 15s start on May 11, between 10.30am and noon.
The club has five qualified coaches and first team players will help as well. Subscriptions are £25 a season, with no match fees.
Sports Park chairman Mark Searle said: "This will be a good opportunity to help young people.
"We're looking forward to fielding youth teams."
