Demands for the county council to tackle parking problems in a residential area of Oxford have been ignored, according to residents.
People living in Boswell Road and Bailey Road, Cowley, vented their frustration at a city council Cowley area committee meeting on May 7.
They said their streets were clogged with commuters' parked cars and motorists were using the area as a rat-run. They complained that the county council had not responded to their complaints.
Syd Castle, of Boswell Road, said: "How long will it take the county council to get their finger out and tell us about the parking?"
Cowley area committee chairman Bryan Keen said the lack of action over many months was frustrating. But he hoped a county council officer would attend June's area committee to discuss improvements.
He said: "I will keep on criticising the county council. Members of the public are not getting satisfaction on highways issues."
Temple Cowley county councillor Biddy Hudson said she only got "half answers" whenever she raised the issue. She planned to meet senior council officials to ensure something was done.
