A family obstacle course with attractions such as shooting plastic ducks with water pistols and sack racing proved a hit at North Moreton Bank Holiday fete.

"Another popular attraction was the crockery-smashing stall," said one of the fete organisers, Susannah Stobart. Her eight-and-a-half-month-old son Rory was the subject of a guess-the-weight-of-the-baby competition. He weighed in at 25lb 5oz.
Stalls included henna tattoos and a "beauty box", which was popular with young girls.
The event raised more than £3,000 for repairs and the restoration of All Saints' Church.
