Volunteers are now being sought to help manage one of Oxford's largest street processions.
Preparation are now taking place for the third Cowley Road Carnival on June 15 and organisers and the city council needs volunteers to help manage the crowds.
Executive member for culture, Maureen Christian, said: "It's so important that we have trained stewards to help out on the day. I urge people to consider donating their free time to train as a carnival steward."
Training is being held on May 10 and 17, between 10am and 2pm, at the East Oxford Action Hall on the Cowley Road, next to SS Mary and John Church.

John Oxlade will give an organ recital at 5pm.
Fun is in store on MAy 10 and 11 for visitors to the sixth Oxford Balloon Fiesta, when the Oxford Mail/Fox FM Treasure Hunt takes place.
Entrants will be asked to answer 12 questions. The answers will be found at the park.
The winner of the first prize will be announced on Fox FM's Steve and Ali Breakfast Show on May 12.
