A new and very local brew is set to tickle the tastebuds of beer drinkers across the Thames Valley.
Chris and Vanessa Hearn
The Loddon Brewery is the brainchild of Chris Hearn, who has been in the brewing business for more than 25 years.
Mr Hearn of The Moorlands, Benson, said: "We are looking to distribute throughout the Thames Valley from Banbury and Oxford through to Southampton and Salisbury."
The brewery is being set up in a former barn at Dunsden, near Sonning Common.
Included in its portfolio will be a 3.5 per cent traditional ale called Hoppit and a blond beer named Ferryman's Gold.
