An artist is holding an exhibition to show how far he has come since taking a tutor's advice and picking up a paintbrush full-time.
Artist Payam Beint
Payam Beint, 31, of Lapwing Close, Langford, near Carterton, was told two years ago that he could be a professional artist, but only if he was fully committed. Since then he has not looked back.
At the moment he is busy preparing for two exhibitions: Oxfordshire Artweeks and the Brighton Festival.
His chosen style is abstract painting, which also features his other passion -- music.
About 60 of Mr Beint's paintings will be on display at the Courtyard Youth Arts Centre in Launton Road, Bicester, until May 16.
