The Oxford Silver Machine will be looking for their first double when they travel to Monmore Green to take on Wolverhampton in a Sky Sports Elite League clash on Monday night at 7.30pm.
There was no holding the OSM when they faced Wolves at Sandy Lane in April and the 58-32 margin of victory then should ensure the bonus point at least tonight.
However, promoter Nigel Wagstaff will be looking for all three points. He has got together a solid looking squad, with the exception of Jernej Kolenko, whose future at Cowlwy must be in some doubt after another zero score against Ipswich on Friday.
The young Slovenian has amassed just 20 points from 13 meetings this season, and clearly looks out of his depth
The Silver Machine will find Wolves a different prospect at the tight Monmore circuit. The home side will be looking to Mikael Max and Peter Karlsson to spearhead their challenge.
The Swedish brothers - Mikael changed over to his mother's maiden name in the winter - are red hot around here and Oxford's top boys, the in-form Todd Wiltshire and Nicki Pedersen, will know they have been in a race.
Oxford's scheduled British League Cup clash against the Isle of Wight on Friday has been postponed because of unavailability of the Silver Machine riders.
Instead, there will be a Conference League KO Cup first-round meeting against Mildenhall.
Wolverhampton: Max, Howe, Skornicki, Ermolenko, Karlsson, Neath, M Karlsson.
Oxford: Wiltshire, McGowan, Boyce, Ulamek, Pedersen, Kolenko, Gjedde.
