Thames Water and the Environment Agency's work with wildlife trusts is behind a 300 per cent increase in otter numbers in the Thames Valley.
Belinda and her owner Daphne Nevill were at Cholsey to launch the national otter survey report. Chief executive of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, Martin Spray, said: "The report indicates a steady recovery, but we are still some distance away from historical numbers."
