Walkers are being encouraged to take part in a sponsored hike along the River Thames towpath.
Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust hope the walk will raise more than £170,000 to fund environmental and wildlife projects across the three counties. Ramblers can choose to take part in either a 10- or 20-mile walk, on Sunday, June 8.
The walk will start from Newbridge, near Kingston Bagpuize, at about 9am.
Top fundraisers could receive a camera, a signed copy of a David Bellamy book, or a case of wine. Anyone who raises more than £100 will be entered into a prize draw to attend a badger-watching evening at one of BBOWT's nature reserves.
Hannah Hickman, fundraising manager of BBOWT, said: "This is our main fundraising event of the year and will help us to fund some really exciting educational projects.
"We have chosen a route which is accessible to walkers of all ages and abilities.
"They will get to explore some of the most stunning and tranquil parts of our countryside."
