Oxford residents have donated more than £4,000 to help Palestinians living in difficult conditions in the Gaza Strip.
In the last few months collections at events organised by the Oxford Palestine Solidarity Campaign, have proved highly successful.
The first £2,300 has been used to provide medicine and supplies for a mobile clinic in the region of Khan Younis.
It was raised at a 'Taste of Palestine' event in February at the Asian Cultural Centre, in Manzil Way. A further £200 was raised at a special film show at the Phoenix cinema in Walton Street.
