Since Oxfam's bookshop opened in St Giles in November 1987, it has raised £2.3m for the charity.
To mark the anniversary Brain Aldiss donated some of his books to the shop's manager Lily Caswell.
As part of the celebrations, authors Philip Pullman, Jan Mark and Tim Pears will join a discussion on May 14 chaired by Barbara Trapido at Regent's Park College. On May 16, Humphrey Carpenter, Sophie Grigson and Liza Picard will take part in a discussion at St Giles's Church.
