Three men have been remanded in custody following an alleged attack that left a Chipping Norton man with serious injuries.
Andrew Nesbitt, 24, of Deacon Way, Banbury, Paddy Gale, 18, of Woodfield, Banbury, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with attempted robbery and causing grevious bodily harm to Yeakub Miah, 29.
They are alleged to have attacked Mr Miah in North Bar, Banbury, at 3.30am on May 10.
The defendants, who appeared before Bicester magistrates, will appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 19. Mr Miah, is in the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, with serious injuries.
His condition was said on May 13 to be slightly improved.
