Banbury's Bretch Hill estate has two new beat bobbies.
Pcs Jim Carroll and Emma Brooks
Pcs Jim Carroll and Emma Brooks are patrolling the area in a bid to reduce car crime and anti-social behaviour.
It is Pc Carroll's first beat assignment.
He said: "I'll be concentrating on car crime and cracking down on youth offenders."
Pc Brooks, a former beat officer for Ruscote and Hardwick, is returning to duty after maternity leave.
She said: "I'm delighted to be back on duty after having my second baby. I plan to liaise with Bretch Hill residents and try to find long-term solutions rather than short-term fixes."
She said she would contact residents' groups and housing associations to deal with anti-social tenants, and would be looking at the problems caused by drunks late at night or early in the morning.
Pc Brooks added: "I'm also responsible for the People's Park, where the ban on alcohol is really having an effect. People are getting the message and things are improving."
