The deadline for entries in this year's Lord Mayor's Parade and annual celebrations in South Park has been extended.
The news comes after event organisers urged Oxford businesses to support the event, which takes place on Monday, May 26, to help make it bigger and better than ever.
The deadline for entries for floats and charity stalls was yesterday, but organisers have agreed to continue to allow applications for the next few days.
Bryan Keen, president of the Oxford Isis Lions Club, which organises the event, said: "We've got more than 15 floats, which was last year's total, and we're still expecting at least 50 charity stalls."
