Two city councillors are campaigning to get a disused Oxford community centre re-opened.

Dan Paskins and Sabir-Hussain Mirza, who represent the Lye Valley ward in Cowley, want the Community Resource Centre, in Horspath Road, to serve the community again.
The building is owned by the council but has been closed for some time.
Mr Paskins said: "There's a shortage of community facilities in the area and we know that the Community Resource Centre was very popular. We're campaigning to get it re-opened by the end of the year.
"We want it to be leased to a community group. The city council is not getting any income from it."
Mr Paskins and Mr Mirza contrasted the closure with the thriving Bullingdon Community Centre, in Peat Moors, which is also owned by the council. It is used by Mencap, parent and toddler groups and drama groups.
It is run by the Bullingdon Community Association and has received a grant from the city council for its work with the Community Development Network, an organisation which was set up as a result of courses run in the past at the Horspath Road centre.
Mr Paskins said: "The success of this community centre shows what a boost it would be if we could get the resource centre re-opened."
