Abingdon hit top form in their Ladies' 2-Pair Division 1 match against Thame, romping to a 4-0 victory.
Joy Browning and Dominique Newman, playing at second pair, were comfortable winners in their two rubbers, but first pair Jackie Hummel and Val Casemore were pushed all the way by Jan Curtis and Ann Green before winning 6-0, 4-6, 6-2.
Banbury West End's top pair of Wendy Eves and Kate Shires dropped just six games in their side's 3.5-.5 victory over Benson.
Liz Bowles and Mandy Claridge collected Benson's solitary half, halving with Karen Taylor and Anne Omer 4-6, 6-3.
In Division 2, Kingston Bagpuize's Sarah Mitchell and Gillian Pearson went even better against Portcullis, losing just three games in their side's 3-1 victory.
Sofia Wachtmeister and Barbara Muller collected Portcullis' one point, beating Linda Hopgood and Maureen Seward 6-1, 6-2.
Also in Division 2, Benson B won 4-0 at Faringdon B.
