Radley sprint stars Kay Reynolds and Molly Russell shone at the Oxfordshire Track & Field Championships at Tilsley Park, Abingdon.
Reynolds smashed the veteran women's record by an incredible 1.7secs as she triumphed in 12.3 - a faster time than Oxford University's Sheona Burns produced to win the senior women's title.
Russell, meanwhile, lowered the under 20 women's best to the same time - 12.3 - in taking gold.
In all, 29 records were set across the age groups, with the veteran athletes to the fore.
Veronica Boden (Radley) lowered the championship best marks in taking the 400m and 800m in 59.8 and 2.19.3 respectively, while Banbury's Jackie Cummingham also hit form to break the hammer record with 31.88m.
In contrast, there were no records in the senior men's categories, although Oxford City's Russell Young produced a splendid run to beat former international Carl Afilaka in the 100m in 11.2.
However, there was a new championship record in the under 20 men's 100m as Duah Seidu (The Army) triumphed in 11.0.
This age group also produced one of the most exciting races of the day with Witney Roadrunner Mathew Ashton pipping White Horse Harriers' Chris Gillespie by a tenth of a second to take the 800m title in 1.59.8.
In the junior events, there were some splendid displays across the age groups.
The highlight of the under 13 boys' category was in the 1500m where Witney Roadrunner Alex Jones triumphed in 5.22.6 following a thrilling tussle with James Charleston (Abingdon).
The pair were given the same time with Jones awarded victory by the thickness of his vest.
There were new records for Simon LeGood (Witney), in the triple jump with 9.01m, and James Halliday (Radley), who clocked 10.9 in the 80m.
In the under 15 girls' category, Claire Triggs (Radley) celebrated a golden double in the 100m and 200m with 12.7 and 26.6 respectively.
Two multiple gold winners dominated the boys events in the under 15 age group.
Lewis Warren (Witney) won the 100m, 200m and 400m plus the long jump.
Oxford City's Martin Klucnics took the discus, shot and hammer titles, winning the hammer with a record 38.39m.
In the under 17 men's category, Alistair Lord (Banbury) took both the premier sprint titles with records in the 100m (11.2) and 200m (23.0).
Alistair Teall (Abingdon) also set a new record with a time of 51.7 in the 400m, while in the field, Oxford City's Mark Rumble enjoyed a clean sweep in the discus, shot, hammer and javelin.
Hannah England (Oxford City) achieved a middle- distance double, winning the 800m and 1500m titles - achieving a AAA first qualifying standards in both, and a championship best of 2.13.2 in the two-lap race.
There were two outstanding performances in the women's events.
Amy Peacock (Banbury) set a new record in the pole vault with 2.40m, and Lucy Boggis (Radley) struck gold in the shot, javelin and long jump.
The sprint events for the veteran men were dominated by Carl Pinder (Oxford City), who took first place in the 100m, 200m and 400m, setting a record in the 200m in 25.1.
There are still further championship events to be held, with the 10,000m and 2,000m walks at the Horspath track next Wednesday.
The 5,000m, sprint relays, men's pole vault and women's 2,000m steeplechase are at Horspath on May 28, incorporated in the Open meeting.
