Wallingford residents have raised more than £10,000 in a year to fund major work at one of the town's historic churches.
The cheque was handed over by Ray Johnson, chairman of the Friends of St Mary's and St Leonard's Churches, to St Leonard's parochial church council treasurer John Findlay.
With them were mayor Nigel Moor and rector the Rev David Rice.
The money, raised in various ways, including a major art sale, has funded the rehanging of a bell, restoration work inside and outside the building and the regilding of the weather vane.
Mr Johnson said: "The Friends organisation is non-denominational and has no part in the church services, but is there purely to make sure these beautiful buildings are maintained."
