Three men injured when their car overturned in west Oxfordshire were being sought by police over the theft of TV sets in Banbury.
Two of them are in the John Radcliffe Hospital at Oxford with serious injuries, while the third is at The Horton Hospital, in Banbury, with less serious injuries.
An air ambulance was called to the scene, at a junction outside Great Rollright, near Chipping Norton, on the afternoon of May 19.
The white Ford Sierra had been followed by a police patrol car along the A361, but escaped.
Police spokesman David Campbell said: "We want to interview all three in connection with the theft of TVs from a store in Banbury earlier that afternoon.
"They are all still in hospital and not in a state yet to be interviewed."
The Sierra is believed to have hit a green Peugeot 206 being driven by Eric Jones, 31, of Llanelli in south Wales, who escaped without injury.
Firefighters from Kidlington spent more than an hour cutting two of the Sierra passengers free. The third managed to release himself.
The road was cordoned off for four hours while officers investigated the scene. Police have not said where the three men, all in their 20s, come from.
