A leading charity is calling on keen cyclists to use pedal power to help increase their funds next month.
Every summer for the past decade, the Anthony Nolan Trust has staged The Oxford Big Bike Ride to raise cash for the fight against leukaemia.
This year's event starts and finishes at South Park on Sunday, June 29. Riders can choose between three circular routes of either 25, 50 or 75-miles through north Oxfordshire.
Event manager Paul Montgomery said: "Last year an amazing 1,500 people took to the roads and, between them, they raised more than £100,000 for the trust.
"This year it's going to be even bigger, and we've got room for everyone."
Cash raised through sponsorship will help fund the growth and upkeep of the charity's register of potential bone marrow and blood stem cell donors and research into diseases such as leukaemia and aplastic anaemia.
Mr Montgomery said: "Leukaemia can strike anyone at any time.
"The Anthony Nolan Trust provides hope to thousands of sufferers waiting for lifesaving transplants.
"Anyone can help them by taking part in the trust's biggest sponsored bike ride, from families and work colleagues to the serious cyclist.
