There's still a spark between retired electrical engineer Wilf Morgan and his wife Daisy 60 years after getting married.
They met when he was working in Cuddesdon in 1941. His future wife had left her home in London to help evacuees who were staying in the village.
They married 60 years ago today, and keen cyclist Mr Morgan persuaded his bride to spend their honeymoon on riding on a tandem on Oxfordshire's lanes.
After serving in the RAF, Wilf, 81, worked as an electrical engineer for Morris Garages in Speedwell Street and the Oxford Bus Company.
Mrs Morgan worked at the Pressed Steel factory in Cowley.
The couple, who are great-grandparents, retired 16 years ago to Cromwell Way, Kidlington.
A lunch party to celebrate with family and friends is planned at Long Hanborough Village Hall on Sunday.
