Oxford's most popular tennis courts have re-opened in time for Wimbledon season after undergoing a £26,000 facelift.

Six hard-surface courts at Alexandra Courts, Middle Way, Summertown, have been resurfaced as part of Oxford City Council's £450,000 investment programme in its parks, including tennis courts.
Peter Johnson, executive member for leisure, said: "We are serious about our commitment to provide better leisure facilities."
