OCA League report: Chris Love returned excellent figures of 6-28 as Harwell pulled off the shock of the Airey Cup second round with a 92-run victory over previous winners Oxford Caribbean.
Paul Butcher (55) and brother Chris (45) led Harwell to 223, and Caribbean were never able to mount a serious challenge against the bowling of Love, falling to 131 all out.
Harwell will next entertain Brill, whose bowlers destroyed Eynsham. Darren Cavanagh (3-38), Colin Young (3-6) and Alan Guntrip (3-3) shared the spoils.
Holders Westbury were sent crashing out by Freeland.
Batting first, Westbury were routed for 93, losing their final seven wickets for just ten runs, thanks to the bowling of Andy Warren (4-28), Ady Buckingham (3-25) and Rob Panting (3-1).
Freeland opener Ian Harris then hit 45 as his team cruised to victory by seven wickets.
Garsington edged to a thrilling one-wicket victory over Oxford Rescue.
Chasing a meagre target of 109, Garsington lost wickets regularly, but Neil Bound (36) ensured their passage into the last eight.
In the Telegraph Cup, holders Letcombe crashed out as they lost to Stonesfield.
Richard Taylor (86) helped Letcombe to 184, Phil Slatter taking 5-39, and in reply, Stonesfield were struggling at 69-5, before Robin Hanks (51no) and Martin Horsley (43) saw them home to a three-wicket victory.
Matt Launchbury notched the highest score of the weekend with a magnificent 163 during Marcham's five wicket victory over Kennington.
That win sets up a quarter-final clash with Minster Lovell, who beat Watlington by 61 runs.
Bill Bowman (47) and Keith Wright (37) steered Minster to 161-8, before Bowman ripped through the Watlington order with 5-8.
Parvaiz Aktar (80) and Nick Armstrong (45) helped Kings Sutton post a fine total of 221-9 against East & West Hendred, but it wasn't enough for victory as Hendred won by seven wickets.
Julian Hitchman took 5-55 for Hendred, then muscled in with 55 as they chased the target.
Ivan Mulford (52) further shifted the balance Hendred's way as he added 97 in 20 overs with Adrian Francis (59), before Miles Martin and Anand Stephen steered them home.
Swinbrook moved into the last eight with a seven-wicket victory over Hailey.
Simon Huxtable (76no) was in blistering form as Swinbrook easily past the Hailey total of 125.
Chesterton marched through in the Steve Dixon Cup with a six-wicket victory against Hanney.
Paul Hammond (66) and Joe Dickson (41) helped Chesterton to the victory target, after Simon Morse took 5-38 as Hanney were bowled out for 165.
David Barber hammered 129 not out as holders Clifton Hampden crushed Dorchester by 132 runs.
Clifton rattled up a massive 271-6, before bowling out Dorchester for just 139.
Seventeen-year-old Ollie Smith took a hat-trick in splendid figures of 5-8 as Minster Lovell 2nd saw off Faringdon 2nd in the Osberton Radiators Cup.
Faringdon posted 76 all out, Minster losing five wickets before reaching the target.
Hook Norton 2nd, from Division 8, caused an upset with a five-run win over Division 5 side Freeland 2nd.
Hooky posted 193, Kim O'Mara top-scoring with 86, before Freeland fell for 188.
Combe 2nd rattled up 208-7 as they beat Marcham 2nd by 31 runs.
Captain Chris Drinkwater was the star for Combe, scoring 56, then taking 5-18 as Marcham were bowled out for 177.
