Parents have agreed to switch their playgroup from a community centre into a nearby school to create an early years unit.
Cygnets Playgroup will transfer from the centre, in Nightingale Place on the Langford Village estate in Bicester, to Langford Primary School in Peregrine Way in September.
The move was approved by Oxfordshire education authority as part of its scheme to provide more early years units for children aged from three to five years.
Cygnets chairman Tina Beard said: "We shall be able to offer places to twice as many children than the 24 we have now and to children aged from two and a half years."
The move will mean Langford Village Community Association will have to find more groups to hire its centre, as the playgroup was its biggest customer, paying about £2,000 a year in rent.
