Former Oxford Cheetahs Leigh Adams and Lukas Dryml starred in the Swedish Speedway Grand Prix in Avesta on Saturday.
But it was not such a good meeting for Oxford Silver Machine duo Nicki Pedersen and Todd Wiltshire as Ryan Sullvan triumphed despite suffering from a broken collarbone, with champion Tony Rickardsson relegated to fifth.
Pedersen, runner-up in the opening GP in Poland, finished 12th, scoring eight points.
Wiltshire has yet to get his challenge under way, although he did improve on his Polish performance, finishing 16th with five points.
The day was all about who could topple Rickardsson and make the competition interesting - and Dryml rose to occasion.
He was the man who produced an inspired ride in the semi-finals behind Greg Hancock to keep Rickardsson at bay and out of the final.
Dryml, who finished runner-up to Sullivan - his second podium place running - now shares the lead overall with Rickardsson on 38 points. Sullivan moved up to third on 31 along with Adams, who finished third on 29.
Pedersen is still well in the running on 28 points in fifth.
