The London ska-pop band were one of the most
popular acts of the 80s, with their Camden Town-style take on Jamaican-flavoured 2 tone.
Although lead singer Suggs can still be seen fronting a variety of cheesy TV endeavours, his band has been largely consigned to history.
Re-capture the glory days that produced hits such as Our House and Baggy Trousers, courtesy of a group of Oxford musicians who really have gone One Step Beyond.
Hope and Glory been together for just six months, but have already provided the soundtrack to
innumerable great nights out.
They are set to get bigger, with a series of gigs around the county this month.
On June 5, singer Daz, bassist Mr C, Sax man Steve, drummer Geoff, Keyboardist Judith, guitarist Neil, and trumpeter John, play The Bullingdon in Oxford, followed on June 9 and 10 with shows at the Nags Head, Abingdon and Hush Wine Bar in Witney.
Expect to hear all your favourite Madness hits played with attitude and passion.
