Two women police officers were assaulted during separate incidents in Oxford on Saturday.
One of the police constables, who have not been named, was allegedly punched in the face twice during a disturbance outside the Westgate Centre, in Queen Street, at about 2am on Saturday, May 31.
A 16-year-old girl and 19-year-old man were arrested at the scene and released on bail until Friday, June 13.
In the second incident, at about 2am on Saturday, another female officer was assaulted after police were called to a house in Godfrey Close, Wood Farm. A 53-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault and on suspicion of making threats to kill.
He was released on bail until Tuesday, June 17.
Both officers escaped serious injury and are back at work.
