Dieticians are running a poster competition in a bid to teach children about healthy eating and prevent obesity.
Primary school children are being invited to take part in the contest, which coincides with the British Dietetic Association's Eat 2b Fit campaign.
The BDA has warned that the UK is on its way to becoming one of the fattest nations in the world if action is not taken to halt the rise of childhood obesity. The Eat 2b Fit campaign is encouraging children to choose healthy food and keep active for a fit lifestyle.
Oxfordshire's community nutrition and dietetic department is asking county children aged up to 11 to design a poster highlighting healthy food.
Staff at the community nutrition and dietetic department will judge all the entries in two weeks, and the winner will be given sporting prizes for their school.
