People put their hands in their pockets to help raise £350 towards a £400,000 church appeal in Thame on Tuesday, June 3.

It is the third time the town's Christchurch United Reformed Church has started a mile of coins in Greyhound Lane as part of the appeal. Secretary of the church committee. About 143 yards of coins have been laid so far.
Church members want to demolish a flight of stone steps and fit a lift to improve access for disabled and elderly worshippers.
Vicar, the Rev David Sharp, said: "We are doing this as part of our drive to raise the last £50,000 towards the work."
The church is planning to have a fundraising stall at Thame Carnival on June 21 and Mr Sharp is planning an eight-hour sponsored preach on June 28.
