Like barbecue parties and cricket matches, news of the first production of A Midsummer Night's Dream is a sure sign that summer is here.
Director Edward Hall has promised an accessible and
magical version of Shakespeare's romantic comedy, which runs at the Oxford Playhouse from June 10.
His production of Rose Rage, which came to the Playhouse last year, won the Barclays TMA Award for best touring production and bagged its director an Olivier Award nomination. Tickets £8.50-£21.50. Box office 01865 305305.
