Oxfordshire's Robin Bourne-Taylor has won a place in the Great Britain eight for this year's World Rowing Championships.
The three-time Oxford University Blue, who lives in Frilford Heath and was a pupil at Abingdon School, won selection from 14 hopefuls during trials.
And now Bourne-Taylor will be bidding to keep his place in 'the big boat' for the 2004 Olympics.
The eight will compete for the first time at the World Cup regatta in Munich later this month, but Bourne-Taylor will miss out because of exams. Also in the eight are Jonno Devlin and Alex Partridge, from Oxford Brookes University.
