Willy Waite clanged off his fourth sixer in the last five matches as George B snatched a 2-1 win at Rowing Machine in the Premier Division of the Greene King Oxford League.
Last week, Waite, a former member of the now-defunct Cricketers A, hit a double sixer as they saw off White House, Bladon, 3-0.
However, Machine proved a much tougher proposition.
Needing five to win the match, Waite conjured up a sixer to dash the hopes of Rowing Machine, who had hoped to record their second successive victory.
Paul Townsend (4-6-4) and Neil Lyon (5-4-5) dazzled for Machine, who last week had their first-ever top-flight win.
It was a good day for another ex-Cricketers' player, John Bailey, as he hit 5-5-6 in Garsington Sports' 3-0 win over Royal Sun.
However, Bailey's former teammate Pip Go ulding was on the losing side as her 3-4-3 could not prevent Cowley Workers B from crashing to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of leaders Highfield.
Derek Burns led the way for Highfield with a 5-5-5.
Norman Holloway was in top form with 5-5-5 for Cricketers' B in their comfortable 3-0 victory over The Fox.
In Section 3, George A's winning streak came to an abrupt halt as they lost 2-1 at Gardiners Arms.
George's only high point was a ten-doll haul from Steve Ward.
Blackbird's Kevin Bloomfield scored a sixer as they beat Bicester Town 2-1.
In Section 11, Mick Beane still showed he has lost none of his talent, scoring 11 dolls for Littlemore British Legion in their 3-0 victory at Hinksey Heights.
