Children will get the chance to draw their interpretation of bacteria in a poster competition to promote food safety.
The contest has been organised as part of an initiative to raise awareness in young people about bacteria and the importance of washing hands clean, as part of National Food Safety Week.
Throughout next week, South Oxfordshire District Council has arranged displays in the One Stop Shop in Thame, the Tourist Information Centre in Didcot, and the town halls in Wallingford and Henley.
The exhibitions will demonstrate the need to maintain good personal hygiene while handling food to avoid food poisoning.
